NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed proposals for a single Prime General Contract shall be received by the Mental Health and Recovery Board of Union County, Marysville, Ohio, to provide all required labor and materials for the following project:

A single prime contract bid shall be received for General contract work. The work will include:
In general, the scope of work provides for the remodel of portions of existing office and conference spaces. Remodel of existing office space to (2) new accessible toilet rooms, new kitchenette in conference room and remodel of existing kitchen space.
1. Replacement of historic wood entry doors and hardware with similar new.
2. Installation of metal studs / gypsum board partition walls, suspended ceilings, interior finishes and interior door assemblies.
3. Plumbing work associated with new toilet rooms, kitchenette and kitchen remodel.
4. HVAC system duct work, diffuser and grille modifications work.
5. Electric power and lighting systems modifications work.
6. Fire alarm testing and maintenance work.
Proposals shall be in accordance with the Plans and Specifications prepared by Mark Lecky Architects, LLC., Architects/Planners, 668 South Ninth St., Columbus, Ohio 43206.
A Pre-bid conference will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd at 10:00 AM at the office of the Mental Health and Recovery Board of Union County, 131 North Main St., Marysville, OH 43040. Due to Covid19 Virus we are asking you to wear masks and perform social distancing when in the building.
Copies of bidding documents must be obtained via electronic download from Mental Health and Recovery Board website www.mhrbuc.org. All addendums will be provided via the same website and bidders are required to down load these files and incorporate into their bids.
No bidder may reproduce or order reproduction of the drawings and specifications without the written authorization of the Architect.
Each proposal shall be submitted on the form(s) provided and in accordance with the instructions supplied and shall be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the total amount of the base bid, or a certified check, cashier's check, or acceptable letter of credit on a solvent bank in an amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the total amount of the bid, payable to the Mental Health and Recovery Board of Union County, Ohio. If a bidder fails or refuses to enter into a contract within ten (10) days following notice of acceptance of this proposal, the bidder shall pay the penal sum in accordance with RC 153.54. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the date of the receipt of bids.
All proposals shall be marked Bid for Mental Health & Recovery Board – 1st Floor Partial Remodel. Proposals shall contain the full name and address of each person and company interested in the work.

The Bid Guaranty shall be returned to all unsuccessful bidders immediately after the Contract is executed. The Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Letter of Credit shall be returned to the successful bidder only upon execution of the Contract Bond.
The Mental Health and Recovery Board of Union County, Ohio reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in any bids, and to award the contract to the lowest and best bidder as determined by the Mental Health and Recovery Board of Union County, Ohio.
