WE ARE
Council for Union County Families (CUCF) consists of multiple members both mandated and non-mandated. Directors from DJFS, The Health Department, The Board of Developmental Disabilities, The Mental Health and Recovery Board, The Courts and Probation, Early Intervention, local school Superintendents, Parent Representatives, and community members meet regularly to discuss service gaps, needs, and collaborations to best serve youth in Union County.
SERVICES
Council offers services to the Union County youth ages 0-21. Council provides "Information or Referral" in order to connect families to relevant local resources. When youth are involved with multiple services in the community, council can provide “Service Coordination". This service helps youth and their families by increasing provider and family communication, developing a unified vision for services, and managing the intensity of services. Additionally, council partners with Maryhaven to provide "Wraparound" services which is an evidence-based process in assisting at-risk youth and their families accomplish their goals through natural supports.

UNION COUNTY
WRAP AROUND
Wraparound is a planning process to help families with complex needs meet their full potential. The wraparound process is a collaborative effort to develop a needs and strength-driven plan built on family strengths and created through a supportive child and family team. Child and Family Teams can include family members, friends, neighbors, mentors, schools, social service agencies, or other service providers. Teams are created according to who the family wants to support them through the wraparound process.
Anyone can make a referral by filling out the online referral form or emailing Referrals@cucfuc.org
PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY
The family must agree to participate in the wraparound process. The custodial parent must be a resident of Union County. The youth must not be over age 21 and must be involved with two or more organizations.
