About the Event
The Adult Mental Health First Aid course is appropriate for anyone 18 years and older who wants to learn how to help a person who may be experiencing a mental health related crisis or problem. Topics covered include anxiety, depression, psychosis, and addictions.
Space is limited to 30 participants therefore registration is required. Training is FREE compliments of the Mental Health and Recovery Board of Union County and includes participant workbook and a three-year certificate.
Please arrive on-time and dressed in preparation for temperature fluctuations that may occur in the training room. There will be two fifteen minute breaks offered during the day along with a half an hour for lunch. Lunch will be on your own. Please feel free to bring any items you may require during the training to practice self-care.
