About the Event

This session will help us better recognize our own thoughts around bias, stigma and isms when implementing gender-focused interventions. Understanding individuals through a gender lens helps us determine the most thoughtful responses to prevent recurrence-traumatization. The environment, staffing and programs delivered can improve engagement, retention and overall health outcomes for women and their families across our systems of care.
