Disruptive behaviors can present themselves in differing ways within the workplace and helping environments. During this webinar, participants will gain knowledge on how to identify disruptive behaviors as well as the impact on self and others. Participants will also be introduced to a trauma-informed approach towards de-escalation, including strategies for responding to behaviors at various levels, along with ways to remain calm and be present. Opportunities for applied learning through practiced simulations will be provided.

Learning Objectives:

1. Identify types of disruptive behaviors that impact work and/or helping environments.

2. Define, and gain knowledge on, specific interventions that deescalate disruptive behaviors in a healthy and safe manner.

3. Be able to implement de-escalating techniques with the use of verbal interventions

Registration in advance is required. THANK YOU!
