Ohio FREDLA Practice Model Parent Peer Support Supervisor training includes topics such as:
1. Defining what parent peer support providers do
2. What supervision looks like for peers that use lived experience as a guide
3. How peer supervision is different from clinical and administrative supervision
4. 10 keys to effective supervision
The Ohio FREDLA Practice Model is an approved training for national parent peer support certification and is anticipated to be an approved training curriculum for Ohio Certified Family Peer Support Certification.
Space is limited. Lived experience is NOT required to participate in this training. Upon completion of the application, you will be notified with an acceptance decision. The Parent Peer Support Supervisor Practice Model Training is held over the course of 3 days, from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. This training will be held in person. Participants must attend all 3 days of the training and achieve a passing score on an assessment to receive a certificate of completion.
